What is Rotaract?
Rotaract is an international network of more than 7000 young professional clubs in more than 160 countries. Each club provides volunteer, networking, and social opportunities for local club members.
As part of Rotary International, Rotaract projects often take on a global scale and allow members from all over the world to work together in co-sponsored projects.
Rotary is close to reaching its goal of completely eradicating Polio worldwide. One reason Rotary has had such success with this and other projects is that the organization was designed to include everyone who wants to make a positive impact in their community and world.
Rotaract and Rotary are free from religious, political, and profit motivation. Rotarians and Rotaractors accept and respect fellow members for their mutual dedication to "Service Above Self".
The only membership requirement is that a perspective Rotaract member be 18 to 30 years old. Each club sets its own membership dues and attendance requirements.
